Education
I graduated from Grand Valley State University with a degree in International Business & Management Information Systems with Spanish Minor. I also studied abroad in Valparaiso, Chile where all my classes were taught in Spanish. While studying there, I traveled around Chile and Argentina absorbing the language and culture. I was voted best speaker by my classmates in my Spanish Reading & Story Telling class by my peers.
Experience
When I was studying in Valparaiso, Chile I tutored two other international classmates. I've also tutored my nephew while he was attending Spanish immersion school. I want to tutor others in Spanish because I have a passion for the Language and many cultures that speak it. I believe that to speak a second language well you need to learn the culture as well as the language. While I was studying at GVSU, I had several Spanish language essays published in the university's La Cabeza de Chorlito. I've also traveled through many Latin American countries like Chile, Argentina, Panama, and Cuba.
